Jeeps are gay

Some would say there's also a correlation with Jeep Wranglers and a man's statement about his sexuality, as the Jeep Wrangler has bizarrely become known as a 'gay' jeep. I even drove it to them prom with a female prom date; this was a different era.

I live in Toledo, OH where the Jeep factory is and have never noticed them being popular with gay guys. All rights reserved. I didn't think they sold them to non-lesbians, and the salesperson definitely seemed to be an Indigo Girls enthusiast.

JB OmahAA. Both of my sisters also had Wrangler Sahara editions, but it didn't tip the Kinsey scales for them, so to speak. My parents got me a Wrangler Sahara when I got my driving license. They seem to be popular with lesbians here but not gay men.

And they wonder where they went wrong. Subaru seems to be popular with a lot of gay people both genders and I know Subaru is very friendly to the gay community. The only gay guy I know who drove a jeep was someone that had a Liberty so that tells you how long ago that was.

The Wrangler's butch and cute aesthetic appeal, its military history, and its adventurous spirit are some reasons why it has become a gay icon. IIRC in the first or an early episode of the American version of Queer as Folk Anime gay 18 goes to a car deanship and is showing interest in one.

Gay trademarks are the property of their respective owners. The Jeep Wrangler has been embraced by the LGBTQ+ community, with some sources claiming it to be the "Most Lesbian Car". Stereotype: Jeep guys are outdoorsy. She was kind and efficient, but maybe she was having a slow month and had make a sale to a non-lesbian.
